At Dodford First School, we believe that music plays an important role in every child’s education, inspiring creativity, building confidence and encouraging a lifelong love of music.

Our Music Development Plan outlines how we provide a rich and inclusive music education through weekly lessons, singing, instrumental tuition and exciting performance opportunities. From taking part in our school choir and learning to play instruments to performing at school and community events, we aim to give every child the opportunity to discover and develop their musical talents.

Our plan also sets out our commitment to further enriching musical experiences and ensuring that all pupils can enjoy, explore and achieve through music.
